The AGEVENT PIGS control unit takes care of ventilation, feeding, power supply, and lighting in the pig section. It brings a new approach to the management of multi-sectioned stalls. A single control unit can manage up to twelve sections of a stall. The setup covers the entire turn, the operator effectively does not have to intervene in the ventilation control, eliminating human error. The unit then evaluates and adaptively adjusts the parameters in the individual stall compartments by itself. Like the other units in the AGEVENT series, it is compatible with the AGE MONITOR superstructure. Thanks to remote management via PC and mobile phone, the farmer gets a comprehensive overview of the functioning and status of his livestock, feed consumption, power supply, and lighting.

Ventilation

One control unit can cater to up to 12 independent stable departments.
Setup for the entire tour. The operator does not have to interfere with the ventilation control, which eliminates human error.
Central and individual ventilation is possible.
Central ventilation uses common air exhaust with measuring propellers in the compartments and flow control with AQC dampers.
Individual ventilation allows each department to have its own independent fans and dampers.
Adaptive and independent heating for each department. The unit itself monitors the run time of each heater and adjusts the settings so that it does not overheat unnecessarily.

Feeding and watering

Possibility of up to 99 independent feeders assigned to individual compartments.
Time and adlibitum feeding function.
Individual recipes according to the feeding curve and age of the animals. Each of the feeders can be fed with the appropriate recipe for the current stocking level.
The system allows for a seamless intermingling of recipes. It is thus possible to switch from one recipe to another gradually over time, without the need to continuously adjust the recipe.
Mixing up to five feed mixtures and raw materials. The mixing itself is then carried out using a stirrer or by regular layering in a weighing hopper and subsequent mixing in a feed conveyor.
The individual silos can be equipped with their own strain gauge weighing or their consumption can be measured by deduction from the weighed hopper. In either case, the farmer has an overview of the quantity of feed stacked.
Adaptive conveyor control allows very precise dosing. The system continuously learns to make the individual doses as accurate as possible.
Comprehensive consumption history. The farmer gets a comprehensive overview of the consumption of individual components and recipes for each feeder, department, and stable. He can then see the consumption for individual pens, individual days, and for the whole tour.
